Amtrak

San Francisco International Airport

From the airport, take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train to the Ferry Building in San Francisco. The Amtrak station is across the street. The Amtrak bus will take you to Emeryville, where you take the Capital Corridor train to Davis.

Oakland International Airport

Arrival in Davis

When you get off the train, you can either take the bus or take a leisurely walk through the pedestrian-friendly streets of downtown Davis to the university.

If you are taking the bus, the Unitrans "A" bus stops at the Shields Library. The Art Building is directly across the street from the bus stop. Single rides are $1.00 and they also sell ten-ride tickets for $5.00.

The most direct walk route covers a dozen blocks. You will start at Second and G Streets. Once you cross "A" Street, you are on the campus; take a left. Stay on A Street for three blocks. Take a left (your only choice) on Hutchison Drive. The Art Building is fifth building on the left.

Turn right on I-880 North toward Downtown Oakland (drive 6.3 miles) Take the right fork onto I-980 East towards Walnut Creek (drive 1.5 miles).
