Johanna (Joby) Barron
B.A., Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington.
Joby Barron is from Portland, Oregon. She works in painting, sculpture, installation, photography and video. She is investigating the cultural/biological accumulation of objects and domesticity as a form of sexual display, extended phenotype and interaction with the natural world.

Aleksander Bohnak

B.F.A., Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, Iowa.
After graduating from MUM with a focus in ceramics, Aleksander (Alek) attended a post-baccalureate program at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. At Dartmouth his work shifted from ceramic objects to large-scale interactive sculpture. Currently, he photographs himself in sculptural environments he builds and inhabits.

Lisa Rybovich Crallé

Lisa is a San Francisco-based multimedia artist. She received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College in 2004 after also studying at the San Francisco Art Institute and the New York Studio School.

Jingjing Gong

Jingjing Gong is an international student from Shenyang, China. She came to the States in 2000, and moved to Davis in 2008. Her major interest is photography.

Robert Graham
B.A., concentration in Film, California State Monterey Bay, Monterey, California.
Robert (Graham) is most interested in working in film, but he is investigating experimental film, Narrative and how these can be used to appeal to a larger audience beyond the artist. Graham is also working with photogaphy and printmaking.

Traci Horgen

B.F.A., Hartford Art School, University of Hartford, Connecticut.
Traci moved to Davis from Woody Creek, Colorado. She received a B.F.A. in painting from Hartford Art School at University of Hartford in Connecticut with an additional year of study at the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture. Traci works primarily in sculpture, drawing and painting.

Joshua Pelletier
B.A., Studio Art, Bard Colllege, New York City, New York.
Joshua recently moved to Davis from the Hudson Valley of New York, which is the small slice of country paradise which borders the hulking beast that is New York City. Although he focused on sculpture as an undergrad, the intervening years have brought his focus more toward drawing, particularly large format pen and ink.

Manuel Fernando Rios

After earning his MA, Manuel received a graduate fellowship at the Headlands Center for Arts in Sausalito, California where he was awarded a studio for a year and a two week residency. Manuel is currently investigating the relationship between and the perception of the flow of products around the world and people who immigrate around the world.
Benjamin Rosenthal

B.F.A., Concentration in Electronic Time-Based Media, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 2006.
Benjamin comes to Davis from New York City. He received his B.F.A. at Carnegie Mellon University in 2006, and studied briefly in 2005 in the Intermedia Department (Sogouzokei) at the Nagoya Zokei University of Art & Design in Komaki CIty, Aichi, Japan. Primarily working in film, video, and performance-based practices, Benjamin is interested in the tension that ensues when acts of performativity--durational, personal, collective, etc.--become edited against elements appropriated from pop culture..

Paul Taylor

B.A., Art Studio, Carleton College, Northfield, Minnesota, 2000.
For most of the aughts, Paul lived in Minneapolis, MN, making work out of his studio and doing carpentry and a little steel fabrication. He works primarily in 3D. His materials include cast concrete, steel, wood, and wires (electrical, computer, etc.).
